Partner with WSOS
Is your organization interested in supporting the next generation of Washington’s STEM, health care, and trade professionals? There are many meaningful ways to get involved, such as hosting a site tour or career panel for Opportunity Scholars, organizing a volunteer essay review event, or funding a named scholarship.
Ways to support
Engage employees in volunteering
Share opportunities for individual employees or teams to support Scholars through mentorship. Volunteers can also help select future cohorts of scholars through applicant essay review.
Recruit your future talent
Help Scholars learn about your industry and organization through career development events and site tours. Find strong candidates by sharing internship and early career opportunities through the WSOS job board.
Invest in WSOS
Make a gift to support Scholars through a named scholarship, grant, or sponsorship of our annual event OpportunityTalks. Many corporate partners also contribute through matching volunteer hours. All gifts are matched dollar-for-dollar by the state!

“Receiving the Rubens Opportunity Scholarship means so much more to me than funding my education. I’ve been at risk of being homeless since senior year of high school ever since my parents abandoned me. With this scholarship, I haven’t needed to work a part time job, which allowed me the privilege of focusing more of my energy on my education. I have the privilege of paying off basic necessities and keeping a roof above my head thanks to being a recipient of this scholarship. With this, I am forever grateful.”
-Johairah, Rubens Family Foundation Opportunity Scholar
