TalentBloom is a purpose-driven consulting firm focused on leadership development.  We help clients diversify their workforce and accomplish their strategies, while developing under-represented young adults into the leaders of tomorrow.  We believe that consulting provides an accelerated learning environment and exposure to a wide variety of experiences, companies, and career paths.  We offer paid apprenticeship opportunities for college students and recent graduates, allowing them to learn on-the-job through a mentorship pairing with experienced consultants.  We also provide training in high demand skills like project management and change management that will ready them for a future career with our clients in business, operations, technology, or to continue their career in management consulting.  The services we provide to our clients: project and program management, business analysis, technology implementation and adoption, and change management.  We work with established companies from a variety of industries, with an emphasis on technology, retail, and healthcare industries.

Position Description

The Analyst position is an entry level consulting role.  Analysts are paired with a minimum of one experienced consultant in a mentorship relationship where they will shadow consulting work and contribute to consulting delivery.  Analysts will have direct interactions with clients and exposure to a variety of types of consulting engagements, careers, departments, and companies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Project coordination and analysis in support of consulting engagement delivery

• Develop and maintain strong positive relationships with your consulting mentors and client stakeholders

• Create weekly status reports and update project dashboards

• Create and maintain project plans

• Support creation of consulting deliverables in partnership with your consulting mentors

• All essential duties and responsibilities will be taught and will vary based on the project and prior experience.

• Proficient typing skills

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft office suite of products – Outlook/Email, Powerpoint, Excel, and Word

• Ability to work 15-20 hours per week during business hours, on weekdays.  Flexibility will be provided for college course schedules.  For example, you may choose to work half-days or certain days of the week to accommodate school schedules.

Education Requirements

• A High School diploma or equivalent

• Interest in completing a 4-year college degree, strong preference for recent or upcoming completion of a B.A. or B.S.

• Business or Information systems degree enrollment or interest strongly preferred
