Jolenta Coleman-Bush is a Director at Microsoft Philanthropies, Washington State. Her career is deeply rooted in driving equity through education and workforce initiatives. Before Microsoft, she served as a Strategic Advisor for the City of Seattle’s Department of Education and Early Learning, overseeing critical education investments.


Jolenta’s diverse background includes roles in public, private, and nonprofit sectors, where she managed youth-centered programs and fostered community engagement. She is passionate about equitable grantmaking and innovative program design. A proud University of Wisconsin-Madison graduate, Jolenta also holds a master’s degree in education policy from the University of Washington.
