Beth Johnson
Beth Johnson is the President and CEO of Coordinated Care, a Centene Corporation health plan serving Washington state. Since stepping into the role in June 2018, Johnson has led with vision and purpose, drawing on more than 30 years of executive experience in the health care industry. She is widely respected for her strategic leadership, particularly in advancing innovative care delivery models and expanding Coordinated Care’s provider network to better serve communities across Washington.
Under her leadership, Coordinated Care has strengthened its commitment to serving Washington’s most vulnerable populations through Medicaid, Marketplace, and Medicare healthcare programs. Johnson has been instrumental in advancing initiatives that improve access, equity, and outcomes for members enrolled in government-funded health care, aligning with Coordinated Care’s mission to transform the health of communities one person at a time.
Prior to her current role, Johnson held senior leadership roles at Premera Blue Cross and Regence BlueShield, where she became a prominent figure in Washington’s health insurance market. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Science with a focus on Public Health Education and a Master of Public Health in Health Administration. Throughout her career, Johnson has demonstrated a deep commitment to community engagement, serving in leadership roles across various health care organizations and contributing to numerous boards and advisory committees.
