Though born in California, Jess was raised in Washington and considers herself a true Washingtonian. Her lived experiences have sparked a passion for supporting and advocating for people who do not have easy access to resources or means that could improve their lives. You can almost always find Jess reading a book, writing about a book, watching a show, or writing about a show.

Fun facts about Jess:

  1. She reads a lot — like 100 books a year!
  2. She got her first passport last year! (But she has still yet to use it)
  3. She is a passionate Reproductive justice advocate!
