Ihssane Mounir
Ihssane Mounir is senior vice president of Global Supply Chain and Fabrication for Boeing Commercial Airplanes. Appointed to this position in December 2022, Mounir is responsible for Boeing’s commercial supply chain strategies, deliverables, and requirements across all airplane programs to enable increasing stability and predictability in Boeing’s supply chain and factories. In addition, he leads Boeing’s Fabrication division, including the engineering and manufacturing of millions of aerospace parts at sites in the U.S., Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
Previously, Mounir served as the senior vice president of Commercial Sales and Marketing. Appointed to this position in 2016, Mounir led sales and marketing of commercial airplanes and related services to airlines and leasing customers around the world. He led efforts to support airline partners throughout the challenges of the COVID pandemic, and as airlines adjusted business strategies to successfully prepare for passenger traffic recovery and return to profitability.
During his career, Mounir has held senior leadership positions across Boeing’s Commercial Sales and Marketing organization. He served as vice president of Sales and Marketing for Northeast Asia, including China, Japan and Korea, and vice president of Sales and Marketing Operations.
Mounir joined Boeing as an aerodynamics engineer in 1997. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in aerospace engineering from Wichita State University.
Mounir serves on the National Advisory Board of Wichita State University, the Advisory Board of Wichita State’s School of Engineering, and the Executive Council for Greater Seattle Partners. He is married with four children.
