Washington State Opportunity Scholarship (WSOS) is a program of the Washington State Opportunity Scholarship Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit organization (EIN: 93-3293868). WSOS has a public-private partnership with the state of Washington, where every private gift to the program is matched with state funds. Since 2011, WSOS has operated through other program administrators and has demonstrated statewide impact.

Donor Privacy Policy 
Washington State Opportunity Scholarship is committed to ensuring the protection of donor privacy. Names, addresses, and any other personal data will only be used by WSOS unless otherwise required by law.   

Electronic Personal Records
Donor information is stored in a secured, cloud database. Only authorized personnel have access to this information, and access and use is limited to appropriate business purposes.  

Mailing Lists
WSOS does not rent, sell, give away, or trade its donor lists or any information contained on those lists for any reason. Donor information is used by WSOS for charitable purposes only and will not be used by any other entity.  

Updating Your Information
At any point in time, you can change your information and your preferences. Should you desire to be removed from any form of contact or a particular form of contact, please contact development@waopportunityscholarship.org.  

Security
WSOS donations are processed via a secure third-party vendor that provides a safe and trusted fundraising platform designed with the highest security protocols set by the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). Neither we nor our vendor stores credit card information, and we use tokenization, encryption, and key management to protect sensitive data.
