Apply for the Federal Education Tax Credits when completing your 2016 taxes. Additional information about the Tax Credit requirement is available in the Current Recipient FAQ’s.

Thursday, June 1, 2017:

Online Required Renewal/Graduate Form opens. Check out the Required Renewal/Graduate Form Checklist to ensure you complete all steps of the application process.

Monday, July 3, 2017:

Your Required Renewal/Graduate Form must be submitted.

Your FAFSA must be submitted, or, if not eligible to submit FAFSA, your WASFA must be submitted.

August:

If you completed the Required Renewal/Graduate Form, you will be notified by email of your Renewal Status. At this time we will also confirm your award amounts per term for the upcoming year, and to which college your award will be sent.

WSOS will send your funding at the college you indicated on the Required Renewal/Graduate Form that you are attending in the fall.

August/September:

College financial aid offices receive and process WSOS checks and apply the funding to student accounts. Your funding most likely won’t be processed and added your account until a couple of weeks into the term. If you don’t see the funding by that time please check with your financial aid office. See Payment Information for details.
