Retina Group of Seattle (Located in Kirkland***) is seeking a dedicated Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess knowledge in ophthalmology and medical office procedures.

Duties may include but are not limited to:

• Perform preliminary patient work-up, including documenting medical history and chief complaint
• Conduct diagnostic tests such as visual acuity, photography, ocular scanning, and tonometry
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Handle front desk duties, including scheduling appointments
• Assist with minor procedures
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients
• Duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Experience in ophthalmology or the optical field preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Certification as an Ophthalmic Technician is a plus
